Low Water Pressure Kitchen Faucet But Sprayer Fine

Wondering if anybody knows what might be causing this problem and how i might fix it.

The kitchen sink faucet is not working but the sprayer hose is. Check whether the diverter that diverts water from faucet to sprayer is in good condition. When water stops flowing from the spout of your kitchen faucet it might mean that something inside the faucet is blocking it. If you have localized low water pressure in your kitchen faucet and nowhere else in your home as we have seen the problem is usually either a blocked aerator or a clogged cartridge.

Reinstall the hot water supply hose and repeat with the cold water line. Turn on the faucet all the way in a neutral temperature position. The kitchen was recently renovated so the faucet is quite new maybe 2 years old. Whether the sprayer s low water pressure is caused by the sprayer itself or a cracked hose it will have to be disassembled.

It s in one of three places. It is a moen faucet don t know the model but series is 7400. The hot water line will flush into the bucket. When a kitchen sink faucet is not working but the sprayer hose is the problem is located somewhere within the faucet fixture itself.

If this is the problem you have you re in luck since these are both very simple problems to fix. Depending on how the sink sprayer is put together you will either need a pair of pliers or a wrench to separate the hose from the base. My moen kitchen faucet has lost water pressure the sprayer still has pressure but the faucet hans very litttle either hot or cold i checked the supply lines and they are fine. How do i get to the distributor that feeds the spout. Then turn off the faucet and water supply valve and dismantle the sprayer. If only the hot water pressure is low.

Now remove the spray head and check if the aerator is blocked.
